  1. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on activities within this online offer, and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offer and the internet. Pseudonymous usage profiles of users can be created from the processed data.

We use Google Analytics only with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not combined with other data from Google.

Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising and thus also serves the financing and customer-oriented use, adaptation, and updating of the website.

We have concluded a contract with Google for order data processing.

  1. Remarketing

Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in connection with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This function enables the linking of the target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-related, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to the user’s previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of his devices (e.g., tablet or PC).

If the user has given corresponding consent, Google will link their web and app browser history to their Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on any device on which the user logs in with their Google account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create cross-device ad targeting.

Users can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in their Google account; to do this, follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/
